We’re excited to share that University of Detroit Mercy and Lawrence Tech's AIAS chapters are officially pursuing a bid to host the 2026 Midwest Quad Conference right here in Detroit! This is a unique chance for us to showcase our city, our school, and our student work on a regional stage. If selected, we’ll welcome students from across the Midwest for a weekend filled with keynote speakers, firm tours, workshops, and networking opportunities.

Taking on this bid not only highlights Detroit’s design culture but also gives our chapter an incredible leadership and professional growth experience. We’ll need everyone’s support, whether that’s helping with planning, sharing ideas, or volunteering, so there will be plenty of ways to get involved.
