All About Design
We're a group of architecture students in Lawrence Technological University's College of Architecture and Design (CoAD) who bring the passion of design and creativity both on campus and around Metro Detroit. The college is dedicated to a pedagogy of “theory and practice”, the original motto of the University. We are made up of members from undergraduate and graduate-level designers and welcome students from all disciplines. Our members are active every week skill-sharing, helping each other with studio projects, planning on-campus events, building projects in the community, visiting architecture and touring local design firms. They have the advantage of a positive network of fellow classmates, studio-mates, professors, professionals and connections to all other AIAS chapters across the country. Be part of a great group of designers! Sign-up at the Membership tab. Questions? DM us on Instagram @aiasltu, or email us at lawrencetech@aias.org. Visit the Calendar tab, and join us at any of our events! |
The American Institute of Architecture Students (AIAS) is an independent, nonprofit, student-run organization dedicated to providing unmatched progressive programs, information, and resources on issues critical to architecture and the experience of education. The AIAS aims to promote excellence in architectural education, training, and practice; to foster an appreciation of architecture and related disciplines; to enrich communities in a spirit of collaboration; and to organize students and combine their efforts to advance the art and science of architecture.
